HTM 2015 Pastry Workshop: White Bread, Chiffon Cake and Apple Pie

On Monday, September 11, 2017, semester 5 HTM students had a pastry workshop. As always, the students looked forward to practical training, particularly when it involved cooking delicious food and then eating it!! Preparation of materials, preparing the cooking facilities and then teamwork were all part of this exercise. Assisted by their lecturer, Mr. Temmy Rachmat, MM (Hos), the students set out to produce perfect white bread, chiffon cake and apple pie. When the students had finished their labour of love, they put their skills to the test-eating the food!! While they were delighted with their produce, Mr. Temmy Rachmat, MM (Hos) was able to point out ways of improving to the students, who look forward to the next practical exercise in cooking delicious food (MiE).
