Five IULI Students Present Their Paper in the Gas Indonesia Summit and Exhibition (GIS) 2016

IULI is participating in the Gas Indonesia Summit and Exhibition 2016. Five IULI second semester students have successfully passed the assessment and have been selected to participate in the student program of the Gas Indonesia Summit and Exhibition (GIS) 2016 even though the program is aimed at final-year students and fresh graduates.

The inaugural Gas Indonesia Summit & Exhibition (GIS), officially supported by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Indonesia (ESDM) is taking place at the Shangri-La Jakarta, Indonesia from 15 to 17 March 2016.

IULI students from different study programs have submitted their abstracts with the following topics “How do you see the Indonesian natural gas and LNG sector in the next 10 years” and “Explain why you would like to be part of the Gas Indonesia Summit and Exhibition Student Program”.

The IULI students have been accepted are Muhammad Zacky Rizano, department of Chemical Engineering (Pharm. Eng), Mariani Natasha, Chemical Engineering (Pharm. Eng), Raditya Ramaganesha Djuliardhie, Management, Teddy Matthew, Aviation Engineering and Muhammad Faza Izzaturamadhan Siregar, Mechatronics Engineering (El. Eng).

This program is aimed to introduce the participants to the local, regional and international gas industry by providing them with a 2 hour round table session of their own and full access to the Gas Indonesia Summit and Exhibition. The objectives are to promote local development of the next generation of leaders in the Indonesian energy industry and to provide students with opportunities to connect with industry professionals as they embark on a career in the energy industry.

GIS is up to date with the recent governance and oil policy restructuring which will affect Indonesia’s gas trade and domestic consumption as well as future investments and developments in the gas pipeline, import and export fields.
