4 November 2017 – IULI, as the partner university of Ilmenau University ,Germany, was involved in the European Higher Education Fair on 4-5 November 2017 at Balai Kartini, Jakarta. This yearly event was participated in by over 130 European Higher Education Institutions. IULI students acted as representatives from TU-Ilmenau to give, amongst other things, information related to study in Germany, how to apply for study in Germany, and how many steps must be taken to get a LOA (Letter of Acceptance) from a university in Germany.
Riva Davia from IULI Hotel & Tourism Management, who has had experience of studying in Germany, was one of the selected students, and was trusted to give an input to the TU Ilmenau candidate students. From TU-Ilmenau itself, Stephan Fischer attending the event.
The idea of this event is to facilitate European Higher Education institutions to directly meet Indonesian prospective students who are seeking to further their higher education, specifically in Europe. This event is dedicated to helping students to find out more about numerous educational opportunities available in Europe. Students were introduced to representatives from universities, institutes, colleges, government agencies and many more international institutions.
