IULI signs MoU with NFU, Taiwan


On 22 November 2019, IULI Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr.-Ing. Surjatin Wiriadidjaja, our Rector, Dr. Ir. Tutuko Prajogo M.S.Mfg.E and members of the Engineering Faculty of IULI were invited to the 39th anniversary celebration of National Formosa University (NFU), Taiwan. Representing the Engineering Faculty were Ir. Setyo Utomo, MSc., and Ir. Invanos Tertiana, MBA.

The NFU has actively promoted successful international academic cooperation in recent years. Whether in teaching or scientific research, it has repeatedly set a high standard. The celebration was very festive, as dozens of drones took off to celebrate the occasion, and the NFU students sang and danced enthusiastically. Among many other foreign guests, distinguished guests from British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and International University Liaison Indonesia (IULI) were invited to participate in the celebration. Dr.-Ing. Surjatin Wiriadidjaja, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the IULI foundation, gave a speech to congratulate the university and also to address the cooperation that will be established between IULI and NFU.

On this occasion, IULI and NFU also signed an MoU for academic research cooperation for the Aviation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Study Programs.

The visit was short yet full of engagement between NFU and IULI. The IULI team also joined a small conference about future education strategy, where the rector of IULI,  Dr. Ir. Tutuko Prajogo M.S.Mfg.E, gave a presentation on virtual classroom prototypes at IULI and also on how international cooperation has been implemented in IULI. IULI representatives also visited NFU’s innovation Maker Space and the UAV club which is an aviation engineering extracurricular activity club for NFU Students.
