IULI AVE visits STPI Curug Flying School for Students’ Flight Training Preparation

December 13th, 2016 – In preparation for IULI student’s flight training, the Head of IULI’s Aviation Engineering Study Program, Neno Ruseno, and Dean of Engineering Faculty, Prianggada I. Tanaya, visited Sekolah Tinggi Penerbangan Indonesia (STPI) in Curug, Tangerang. STPI is one of the official educational institutions under the Ministry of Transportation, Indonesia. Its function is to educate and prepare the youth of Indonesia to become skilled experts in the field of aviation,  especially as pilots and aircraft/airport technicians.

The IULI delegation was met by Capt. Roy Nainggolan, the Head of the Pilot Department of STPI, and his staff, Mr. Yuda Wasis. IULI and STPI discussed the opportunities for a collaboration in pilot training for IULI students who specialize in academic aviation engineering. STPI will train IULI’s students to get their private pilot’s license  in 7th semester.
