On 23 November 2016, AirNav Indonesia held a refresher course for their ATC controllers from remote areas in their headquarters at Kota Tangerang. These regular training sessions aim to increase knowledge and refresh the minds of staff. On this occasion they invited the Head of Aviation Engineering Study Program IULI, Neno Ruseno, to give a lecture on ‘The Usage of Air Navigation Data in Aviation Industry.
The lecture explained air navigation data usage in aeronautical charts, electronic flight bags, flight planning, flight management systems, and flight tracking. The lecture was based on the knowledge and experience of Mr. Neno Ruseno, who has more than 15 years’ experience in the aviation industry. The session ended with a discussion about the future of air navigation based on the road map from ICAO.
