Ubud Food Festival 2018

On April 13-15 2018, IULI students joined the Ubud Festival in Bali. This Festival was founded in 2015 with the purpose of showcasing Indonesia’s diverse cuisine. Presented by ABC, the festival is a three-day culinary event that provides delicious Indonesian food and extraordinary local produce. UFF celebrates the archipelago’s rich culinary heritage and the exciting future of its food industry.

Ubud Food Festival is a grand annual project of the Yayasan Mudra Swari Saraswati, with the vision of enriching the lives of Indonesians through community-building and cultural programs. This year the theme was ‘Generasi Inovasi’ (Innovative Generation), which is inspired by Indonesia’s young, tech-savvy population, who are influencing the nation’s booming innovation economy. UFF18 celebrated the innovative and sustainable ideas in Indonesia’s food industry, which is creating a distinct food culture unique to the archipelago.

The event also featured cooking demonstrations, special events and food tours to masterclasses, in-depth discussions and film screenings.
