IULI-NFU Kick-off Program 3+2

On 16 September 2016, IULI launched the new student exchange program “IULI-NFU”, which is organized under the TEEP (Taiwan Educational Experience Program). However, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic situation NFU will be operating their programs online.

The launch was held via Zoom Meeting and in attendance were Professor Frank Lin from NFU (National Formosa University), our rector Dr. Ir. Tutuko Prajogo M.S.Mfg.E, the Deans and faculty members and students who plan to join the exchange program.

During the meeting the students were able to ask questions concerning the program itself and how they will execute their projects.

The partnership program will be called “ 3+TEEP+Master-degree IULI-NFU Program”, which is a modification of the “3+2 IULI-NFU program”.

This modification needed to be done due to the limitation of travelling physically during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, this semester the classes will be held online by NFU for the academic year 2020-2021. In the following semester, the even semester of academic year 2020-2021, IULI students that have joined this program will be able to travel to Taiwan once they have permission from the Taiwanese Government to continue their studies at NFU to pursue their Master Degree.

The 3+2 program is regarded as an umbrella program of the cooperation between IULI and NFU, where IULI students will study for 3 years at IULI and will complete their studies at NFU for another 2 years in order to pursue the Double Degree: Bachelor Degree from IULI and Master Degree from NFU. They can also choose the option of acquiring a bachelor of science from IULI and an international aircraft maintenance certificate from NFU, which we call Program-147.
