IULI Joins Socialization on the Importance of Food Labels in Processed Foods held by BPOM

Our Food Technology lecturers, Mrs. Mirza Rizqi Zulkarnain, STP, MSc, Mrs. Lely Rahmawaty, STP, MSi and Dr. Luth joined a socialization event on 3 September 2019 held by BPOM (National Agency of Drug and Food Control) and was moderated by dr. Lula Kamal. The event focused on the importance of food labels on Processed Foods and took place at Grand Mercure Hotel, Jakarta. This event was held in relation to the new regulation regarding food/nutrition labels on processed foods. Other than that, the nutrition/food labels are also related to the strategy of POM in the attempt of preventing non-infectious diseases and also the problem of malnutrition in Indonesia.
