IULI Alumni Present their Thesis at ISAST

The International Seminar on Aerospace Science and Technology (ISAST) VII was held on 24-25 September 2019 in Hotel Bidakara Grand Pancoran – Jakarta. The international seminar is the continuation of ISAST series, which has been held by Indonesian National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN) since 2013. The target participants of the seminar are Indonesian and International students, researchers and engineers from various disciplines in aeronautics and space technology, from research institutions, universities, armed services, and industries.

We are proud that two recent graduates of AVE department BATCH 2015 at IULI where selected to present their thesis defence in such a highly respected seminar, with the topics of “Computational Study Of Interaction Between Shock And Rarefaction Waves In Expanded Supersonic Nozzle” which is in the area of aerodynamic studies and was presented on seminar session 2 on the first day by Aaron Bramhasta (AVE batch 2015)  under supervision of Dr. Ressa Octavianty, and the topic of  “Preliminary Constellation Design And Analysis Of LEO Microsatellites For Air Traffic Monitoring And Surveillance in Indonesia” which is in the area of satellite dynamics which was presented on seminar session 8 on the second day by Giovanni Henggar Setyantoro (AVE batch 2015),  under supervision of Triwanto Simanjuntak , Ph.D.
