This semester, the final exam of the Airport Systems course is in the form of group project presentations. The project is to create a masterplan for a new airport or upgrading the existing airport. The masterplan must include the airside of airport such as runways, taxiways, aprons and navigation systems. It also includes ground sites of airports such as terminal, hangar and supporting facilities. For this batch, the groups selected Juanda airport, Kualanamu airport, Banyuwangi airport and New Yogyakarta International airport. Besides the masterplan report, the students need to create the airport model.
